High-voltage and low-voltage distribution cabinets are power distribution equipment used for power distribution, control, measurement and cable connection in power supply system. Generally, high-voltage switchgear is used in power supply bureaus and substations, and then it is led out to the low-voltage distribution cabinets through the step-down low-voltage side of transformers.
So, friends, do you know the difference between high-voltage distribution cabinets and low-voltage distribution cabinets?
In fact, it is easy to distinguish. The difference between high voltage distribution box and low voltage distribution box is the difference between high voltage and low voltage. Above 380v (line voltage) /220v (line voltage) is high voltage, and equal to or less than 380v (line voltage) /220v (line voltage) is low voltage.
High-voltage incoming cabinets, metering cabinets, high-voltage outgoing cabinets, low-voltage incoming cabinets, capacitor cabinets and low-voltage outgoing cabinets, which are the conventional configuration of the power distribution room, are combined according to certain functions, as follows:
(1) High-voltage incoming cabinet
It is a high-voltage cabinet that cuts off the high-voltage incoming power supply. Actually, it is not a real incoming cabinet. Generally, incoming wires are not connected to this cabinet, but to an isolation cabinet. However, it is called an incoming cabinet because it has a circuit breaker (vacuum) that can cut off the incoming power supply.
(2) Measuring cabinet
As the name implies, it is a cabinet used to install watt-hour meters and accurately measure how much electricity you use. This cabinet has no big components except PT and CT.
(3) High voltage outlet cabinet
Its function is to distribute and transmit electric energy, generally with transformers or high-voltage electrical equipment (motors) and high-voltage compensation equipment.
(4) Low-voltage incoming cabinet
Generally, the first cabinet coming down from the transformer, also known as the low total cabinet, is used to control all the electrical equipment below, and its main switch generally adopts a frame circuit breaker.
(5) Capacitor cabinet
Its function is to compensate the quality of electricity consumption and improve the power factor.
(6) Low voltage outlet cabinet
Its function is to distribute and transmit electric energy. Unlike high voltage, it basically goes directly to the electrical equipment, and the switch generally adopts plastic case circuit breaker.
