There are generally two possibilities for oil leakage: one is that the sealing box is seriously worn, which leads to oil leakage in the oil chamber of the sealing box; Second, there is oil in the cable, or the cable used after maintenance does not meet the specifications, resulting in poor sealing and oil leakage.
Maintenance method: When the submersible pump has slight oil leakage, it should be stopped for maintenance to prevent the motor from being damaged by water entering the oil leakage.
The method is as follows:
1. Check whether the sealing box is damaged or leaked.
Unscrew the nut of the oil injection hole at the water inlet joint and observe whether the oil chamber of the sealing box is full of water. If the oil chamber is full of water, it indicates that the sealing box is not well sealed. Replace the sealing box and operate as follows.
First remove the pump cover, unscrew the nut fixing the impeller, remove the impeller, bakelite, gasket, water baffle and other accessories, then remove the water inlet connector, remove the stability key and shaft sleeve on the shaft, remove the stability plate of the sealing box, and then remove the sealing box.
When installing a new seal box, you must pay attention to the following points: immerse it in engine oil and rotate the bearing sleeve before installation; During installation, it is necessary to install a false guide bearing at the shaft end of the motor and a false key in the keyway to avoid damaging the sealing rubber ring in the shaft sleeve.
2. Maintain whether the outlet end of the motor leaks oil.
Observe whether there is oil at the root of the cable. If so, there is oil leakage inside the motor. In general, the third eye sealing plug is damaged and should be replaced. At the same time, cut off the lubricated part of the cable and reconnect it.
Some submersible pumps do not use three sealing plugs, and there is a wiring board in the outlet box. If the wiring board is damaged, it will also lead to oil leakage. The terminal block should be replaced.
In addition, for submersible pumps with inverted coils during maintenance, if the wires used are unqualified (too small), the motor will also leak oil.
When repairing the oil leakage fault. Pay attention to measuring the insulation resistance of the motor with an insulation resistance meter. If the insulation resistance value is very low, it should be removed and dried to make the insulation resistance value more than 5MQ.
