  Electrical equipment is divided into primary equipment and secondary equipment. The primary equipment takes high voltage and high current as the main conductive loop, and the secondary equipment takes low voltage and low current control, protection, signal and measurement as the loop. We can also understand it this way: the equipment that completes the function of power generation-transmission-distribution is called primary equipment, and the equipment that controls and protects primary equipment is called secondary equipment. Special equipment, such as excitation, rectification, speed regulation and other devices, itself includes main electric circuit and control circuit, which need to be distinguished in more detail.

  Primary equipment includes: generator-transformer unit system, high-voltage distribution system of booster station, transmission line, auxiliary power system and power generation equipment.

  Secondary equipment includes: electrical monitoring system, excitation system, synchronization system, DC system and uninterruptible power supply, communication system, relay protection, automatic device, etc.

  In thermal power plants, the generator-transformer unit system includes: generator, excitation transformer, excitation regulator, generator enclosed bus, generator neutral grounding device, main transformer, main transformer neutral grounding device, etc.

  The high-voltage distribution system of booster station includes: 110KV and above buses, main transformers, high-voltage standby transformers, lines, and bus coupler intervals.

  The auxiliary power system includes: high-voltage auxiliary transformer, high-voltage auxiliary bus, high-voltage auxiliary load interval, low-voltage auxiliary transformer (turbine room, circulating water, coal conveying, burning and stripping, etc.), high-voltage standby transformer, high-voltage standby distribution bus and load interval, low-voltage standby distribution bus and load interval, and electric power load center of turbine room and main control room, etc.

  The electrostatic precipitation system includes: high-voltage electric field, rectifier transformer, control and adjustment device and rapping device.

  The DC system includes: DC bus, charging device, power storage device, DC oil pump, emergency lighting and various DC loads.

  Uninterrupted power supply system includes: UPS device, bypass switch and various loads.

  The security system includes: diesel generator set.

  Lighting system includes: normal lighting of the whole plant and emergency lighting.

  In addition, it also includes electric doors, pumps and fans distributed throughout the plant.
